Role Overview 

We are seeking a Senior Data & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team as a consultant. In this role, you will work on high-impact projects for one of the largest retail companies in the Netherlands, contributing to the development of scalable data and infrastructure solutions. 

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and thrives in collaborative environments. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data and infrastructure solutions 

• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles 

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions 

• Translate business needs into robust technical implementations 

• Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of data systems 

• Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and processes 

• Provide clear insights into technical decisions and their business value 

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) 

• Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform 

• Solid background in data engineering and infrastructure design 

• Experience working in product-driven environments 

• Ability to work independently in a remote setup
